Every day parish members pray for you. We pray for people everywhere who need prayers, who need God's peace and calm,
His wisdom and guidance.
So, if you feel alone or at your wits end...or you have a special need or intention please know that there is a small praying community
on a tiny Bahamian island interceding for you. Every day.

    We're with you.

Come back.

We need you with us.

EVERY DAY OUR MEMBERS PRAY FOR YOU.
We made a commitment to do so.

We pray for everyone who needs prayer and spiritual help. We pray for those who are ill, the dying, the oppressed and the depressed, the marginalised, those with addictions.....those who need to feel God in their life. Daily.
We're praying for you.

1st Timothy 2:1

First of all, then I urge that supplications, prayers and intercessions and thanksgiving be made for all people....

Yes, We're praying for you.

Every day.

Our Mission

Catholic-Christian life is more than what happens on Sunday mornings. It's a part of who we are, inside and out. Every day. At Holy Name Catholic Church we strive to live the gospel daily, and thereby live a life that embodies the message of  Jesus Christ and live a life pleasing to God.  We hope that our lives will witness effectively to Jesus and be an invitation to others to come to faith in Him.

Who We Are

We are a small but committed Catholic community in Bimini, Bahamas with a mission to pray for you and others who are in need of prayer. We do this everyday "without ceasing". We do this for the sanctification of others and for ourselves too in the hope of deepening our spiritual lives and thus grow into a greater intimacy with Jesus.

Question:I have been away from the church for a long while. How do I come back?
Answer:Through the church door. Come back. We're happy to see you. Together, lets get back to God's work. Welcome home.

If you have stopped practicing your faith
or if you have left the church we want to welcome you back.
If the church has hurt you we're sorry, but we're not the same without you.
Let's bind up the wounds and get back together. No matter where you are....
Come back. Come home.

Jesus is calling.
